Collegium Internationale Activitatis Nervosae Superioris (C.I.A.N.S.) is the oldest international society in the field of behavioural neuroscience, integrative physiology and psychosomatic relations. It emphasizes an integrative approach in order to understand how and by which mechanisms psychosocial factors influence behaviour, homeostasis and health. Another goal is to support development of health care measures which could decrease death and disability from disease.
